Empowering Parents to Raise Confident Children Workshop for Parents: Saturday 3rd February 2018 10am-3pm
This workshop is for parents who want practical tools and strategies to help them raise confident, resilient children. The focus is on equipping you with new and practical strategies for managing their stress, allowing them to respond more positively to life's challenges. You will learn how to gain a better understanding of your children's strengths and areas of development, and how to exercise these strengths through positive mental weight-lifting. You'll learn strategies for teaching your child how to self-reflect and accept themselves for who they are, as well as ways of managing stress and anxiety through meditation, positive self-talk and goal setting, allowing them to face life's challenges in a more healthy way. We will provide all the resources you need to create your own family toolkit and roadmap helping you implement your newly acquired skills into your everyday life.
This workshop is for parents who want to find additional help and support for their children so they can reduce their child's habitual patterns of negative self-talk, and low confidence, whilst promoting a better emotional understanding of the self, to help manage stress and anxiety, and unhelpful critical thoughts.
This workshop is right for you as a parent if you have children who...
Are often self-critical
Focus heavily on what they can't do, rather than what they can
